$300,000 Settlement – Intoxicated Driver Plows Truck Into Home

Attorney Kevin Smith secured a $300,000 settlement for emotional injuries suffered by two clients after an intoxicated driver plowed his pick-up truck into their home in Preston, Connecticut.  While the clients' were not physically injured, they both were trapped under debris for several minutes, unable to hear each other and not knowing if the other survived the collision.  The insurance company attempted to minimize the driver's actions, but ultimately settled the case for $300,000 total.
